So, the day is here and we’ll see what Rick Ross moved in terms of his units sold. Sales don’t matter to me. I think the album is really good and I like it based on the artistic merits. I’m not concerned with his past too much. I only know a couple rappers that actually live what they say totally. 50 Cent must have done a number on Ross in NYC though. I got this letter…well its very telling. LOL!

I actually work at the Best Buy at 44th and 5th where the Rick Ross signing was.... and the pictures didn't lie, really there was about ten people that came through for it. It was like when Bobby Valentino came, and we, as employees, we given the opportunity to chill with him before the signing with "only" ten spots available... No one jumped on it. And, to be fair, with Bobby Valentino, we didn't have as much promotion. But for Rick Ross, he had promo in our windows for a good two weeks leading up to it. Personally, I'm not a fan (though I tried, I bought Port of Miami, and vowed to never buy a Rick Ross album ever again), and maybe New York just isn't his market...

But this isnt really a rumor because if you know music then you know Ross better do wayyyyyy better than Kiss did on his album with no radio, no video and he did 130K! They put at least 2M for Ross. At least!”

Feud with Rick Ross
